On a hot, humid Florida day walking off the green with a bogey on a par 4, my playing friends congratulated me for no less than the 7th time that day with a “Good 5”, an idea arose.

While we aspire for greatness on the golf course, the reality is that most of us are “bogey golfers”. Which is still darn good golf. And we would happily put a 5 on our scorecard for a tough par 4.
